Sagittarius - The Archer = aspiration and direction
The Bow = freedom of the soul
The Arrows = one pointedness
On May 23rd 2024 the full moon will be in the sign of Sagittarius. This moon will be characterized by a surge of energy and very positive astrological alignments to other planets, so I call this event "An Auspicious Full Moon".
The Sun in Gemini will be reflected by the Moon in Sagittarius its polar opposite ten fold, amplifying the communication planet Gemini. At this time both Jupiter and Venus will conjunct the Sun in Gemini intensifying the Jupiter influence of joy, luck, expansion, truth and freedom. The Taurean energies will also be highlighted as well. (Food, sensuality, resources, money, the earth). Sagittarius is ruled by the Giant planet - Jupiter and brings in themes of freedom, adventure, higher learning and education, truth and philosophical/spiritual seeking. Sagittarius energy is about discovering truth and what one really believes and is expressing in an honest and direct way in communication so that others understand what is truth, for you.
This Full Moon in Sagittarius will be trine to Neptune in Pisces which brings in a flowing, harmonious and co-operative energies. Neptune in Pisces is also sextile to sun, Jupiter and Venus which delivers opportunity for the soul in a higher capacity. A time to elevate the consciousness of the soul, like the Archer who points the arrow upwards in the spirit of truth. Neptune in Pisces is at 29 degrees the last degree of the zodiac, so this has a completion energy and will have an influence over the next 18 months until Jan 2026 when Neptune moves into Aries. Completions may feel like an enormous relief has washed over you or may feel uncomfortable depending upon the acceptance to move forward into new terrain. This transit is supporting forward movement into the newness of another exciting venture.
This Full Moon could be a good time to release old patterns and beliefs that no longer serve your personal growth. We can open ourselves to expand our horizons and embrace a more expansive outlook or even a new way of life at this time. The Sagittarius Full moon gives us an opportunity to allow our soul to rule, instead of allowing the personality or mind to dominate.
This can make this time beneficial to focus on our own goals, establish clarity, discriminate between illusion, and allow ourselves to be under the direction of the soul.
It is a particularly pertinent time to monitor our thoughts and ensure that they are truly directed forward and upward, supporting our creations. Remember "energy follows thought, and thoughts are very powerful.
Sagittarius is the spirit of truth, which propels mankind forward. Truth is found within; the inner quietness - listening in the inner stillness. You just may feel like indulging within during this time, reflecting, following hunches, receiving intuitive promptings, know that your Soul has your back and is directing the show, now is the time to receive instruction via your intuitive channels.
